Sony Vaio upgrade question...

My uncle wants to upgrade the video card in his Sony Vaio... will he be able to just buy a video card and stick it in like normal? Or does Sony have too much proprietary crap that won't allow him to do that?

But lets make an assumption here...call me crazy but I'm guessing it has regular sized PCI slots so yes, there is "a" video card that he can put there. When you find someone who knows how to open the case and identify the slots, you might want to have them measure while they're in there. Sony likes to use mATX mobos and tiny cases...you might have a hard time fitting a long assed GF4.

Aside from your sarcastic attitude, thanks for the advice... anyone else have any relevant knowledge and can refrain from making insulting comments?
