Sony Vaio question?

I have a Sony Vaio computer that has an internet address bar in the task bar. How does one get rid of it?
So far I havn't had any luck. Im thinking that it got there with a particular program but not sure. Who can feel me in?

It's more of an OS question than a VAIO question, I think. If you're using Windows of some kind or another I think you'll find what you need by right-clicking on the taskbar. In WinXP you move the cursor to highlight the Toolbars selection, then click on Address to remove the checkmark. I think that's what you're looking for.

Edit: Just looked over that paragraph. To hear me tell it I doing a lot of thinking. But, to tell the truth, I don't think that I really do that much thinking. Eh. excuse me. Just feeling weird today. 😉
