I took this damn thing apart (not knowing how to in the first place) to spray some canned air on it to remove built up dust and OMG there was an assload of it. I did this because it would get hot and overheat.

Put everything back together, everything's looking fine, no extra pieces or screws, etc... Except when I go to turn it on, the LCD won't come on. The fan is spinning, the CPU is getting warm and I hear it trying to access the cd-rom. I can't verify if the hd is working or not, but it seems like it is. I don't have another laptop to verify this or not.

I've tried doing a VGA out to another monitor which shows nothing and acts as if it isn't receiving any signal and instead of a green power button, it's orange.

Anybody got any ideas?

I'm willing to take pictures with my digital camera, if needed. Or if someone local feels like helping me out and can diagnoes the problem as something retarded and simple to fix and not having to replace any parts I will gladly pay you a nice fee for the help.
