And by the way,

Everywhere you look, even Sony's specs, it says that the RAM is only PC2100 (go see for yourself, BestBuy's site, everywhere it says that)

But I went to Best Buy last night, and we opened them up (both the K33, and the one for $200 more- the K35 if I'm not mistaken)

And in fact they are PC2700, not PC2100.

I finally decided on the K33, and I'm typing this at home on it as we speak.
totally satisfied so far. WIFI reception is outstanding


I opened mine up to just to make sure about the RAM, and sure enough, here's what they say:

On the sticker on the RAM:
Infineon
HYS64D332020HDL-6-C
also pc2700S-2533-0-A1

and on the chips:
HYB25D256160CE-6

I don't know why the listed specs are wrong.

Maybe I got lucky with the batch.

Battery life is not that great, but not horrible. Fan noise is noticible, but not offensive.
But if you're one to mostly have it plugged in and usually have music or whatever playing, that stuff shouldn't be a big deal.
