I tried a few times, but when I pressed the button to finalize my order, it would respond with a page that said "server error. To complete your order, press refresh on your browser's toolbar."

When I refreshed the screen, the shopping cart would be back, but with someone else's name and credit card information.

I probably won't get a carrying case, but if I'd wanted to steal other people's personal data, it looks like ordering from Sony Style is one way to do it.

I got a confirmation but yikes that dude who gets the body wax using the stolen credit card number is probably using my number to buy a Viao:shocked:
 
My order went through. Their servers were balls slow, and I had 50 in my cart to see if it would work, but the confirmation has 10. I doubt it will be fulfilled though. But we'll see what arrives tomorrow 😛
 
Okay. There is definitely something wrong with the site.

I tried to add one to my cart and it added 50. My subtotal (including shipping) comes to $6.00.

Let's see if they all come.
 
I wouldn't touch anything from this site until they learn what "secure" means.

I went through, never identifying myself -- and could alter some poor dude's account.
Curious, I looked at "order status" -- and there's two orders showing with two different "ship-to's"

I'm guessing I could probably order however much is left on this guys credit-card....

Sh!t! I ordered some just for the hell of it. Great, just what I need is to have to try to deal with getting my credit card stolen. I didn't have any problems while on the site, it loaded fine for me, so maybe nothing bad will happen.

What browser's are you people using anyways?

The site is wacked. I'd consider your CC stolen by now.

edit: using IE6.0
 
Hmmm... Added a cheap item to "my" cart, then removed it, then added an expensive item....
subtotal showed expensive items price but the TOTAL showed only the cheaper items price.

Might be worth risking a one-time use CC# to see what happens....

Scary.

Guys, this is a totally bogus site. I hope to GOD you didn't give your CC info. Don't use the link but rather go to www.sonystyle.com and add the same to your cart and you'll see the difference.

Not certain where you may be looking, but following the link above as opposed to venturing to "sonystyle.com", and searching for "PCGA-CCN2PRO" yields the same result, save the session ID number (which differs, of course). Would venture to guess the session ID contained within the link posted above may in fact be the cause of some members reporting finding the financials of other members who have used the link, and added their payment/billing/shipping/etc. information.

Would suggest not using the link above, either; but certainly not because the site is somehow a scam or "bogus". Sonystyle.com is infact the official Sony store, and the link above does indeed go to Sonystyle.com.

I suspect it is things like this that cause these deals to be dead in the first place. Fifty...what the f!!!!
 
im still thinking of purchasing this one even though my order was cancelled. it'd be a really nice case for my ibm x31 and $20 isn't that much.

They cancelled my order for 1 unit, and didn't bother notifying me. I had to go to the website to find out.
