SONY VAIO battery charge function

Hi all,

the default option is to leave it off.
but there is two option to be chose.

80% or 50% to save the life of the battery.
I want to know if there is a way to change it to 95% instead of the two above.

There should be a "custom" option which lets you set whatever you want. Try updating the VAIO software if you don't have that option

thanks for the input, however the custom setting you advised has only 100%, 80% and 50%.
Is there a way to change the registry setting to have a 95%?

You're right... it says "custom" but you can only set those values. I have no idea how set your own

according to sony website (i forgot the link) that 80% is best for charging battery too often, it means 80% is ideal to prolong the battery life expectancy, 50% is there for ppl who connect the ac adapter most of the time for the same benefit.
