Just bought a Sony X850B and a GTX 960. I am using a Forest HDMI cable.

Both have HDMI 2.0 and should be able to run 4k and 60 hz via Ycbcr444. I'm running driver 347.88. If I choose 4k x 2k 3840 x 2160 at 60hz, it shows a weird inverted color image.

Same deal with the 4096 x 2160 option. It will run fine at 30 hz. Am I missing a step here? Any help is appreciated.

Windows 8.1 Pro
i5 2500k at 4.5 ghz
EVGA GTX 960 FTW Edition 2GB VRAM
Forest HDMI Cable

I am having a very similar problem. But I don't even get 30 Hz. And I get no image at all. I do have a Sony 940c, an i5 @ 3.5 gHz, and a GTX 960. And PowerDVD 15.

Did you fix it?

What software are you using and what source material?

You'd have better luck asking in the owners' thread on AVS (that's x850b, this is x940c).

Thanks s44. I do spend time there too. But there isn't a lot of use of the GTX960 for HT. Seems as though @ChrisRey3156 has done pretty much the same things I have but with a little better luck. I figure by now, he has solved the issues he was having.

I'm still working on it.

Again, Thanks!
