Hey Guys;
Just picked up a 32" Sony Bravia 720p TV for the bedroom. I have an old PC (e8400, 8800GT, 4GB DDR2) which I wanted to use as a media PC for the bedroom as well. I have the TV hooked up to the PC using a DVI > HDMI cable. When I turn the machine on I see the post screen, but then when it gets to the part where you should see Windows logo, the screen just goes black. It doesn't say "no input," it just goes black.
I know for sure the PC and and the cable both work as I've just tested them on the living room TV (46" 1080p Sharp Aquos) and it all works no problem.
Have any ideas at all on what would cause this to happen, or how I can get around it?
