The TRUTH about TRINITRON LINES!

What Sony and the so-called "Trinitron Gang" don't want you to know. Hundreds have paid for this information with their lives! I can no longer sit in silence as these ignorant "wire" stories go around unchecked.

(Looking over shoulder...typing in haste...I think they're onto me)

Those "lines," as you so eloquently put it, serve a sole, sinister, purely evil purpose - one that Sony will stop at nothing, including bloodshed, to cover up.

They're dental floss!

That's right! It's a nefarious plot hatched in the back rooms and bordellos of Bangkok between the ADA (American Dental Association) and the elite of Sony's executive board to subliminally program all Trinitron users into performing inhuman acts of oral mundification. It's genocidal barbarism in its purest form. The poor fool Trinitron user doesn't even know what hit him before he finds himself flossing on a regular basis. Oh the humanity! If you'll listen to a Trinitron closely, you'll also hear a very muted, high-pitched whine. It's subliminal audio desensitizing the same poor, labotomized, drueling imbicile to the sounds of a dentists drill.

Sony is simply a front for the ADA and their death squads run by psychotic orthodontists and their DMD henchmen.

We're all doomed.

ROFLMAO!!!!!!! I take it you are an electronics technician or engineer to say that!! What an absolutely absurd remark, Samsung are amongst one of the most unreliable and cheaply made products around, if they use trinitron screens then the screen is top quality and the rest of it is still junk!!!

Give us some evidence to say they are good before you troll on about it...

Like I said, All of your responses (except for Horta's :) ) lead me to believe that the newer trinitrons' lines are much less visible. I'll have to check one out for myself, but the monitor I was looking at was made circe 1997-1998. The lines may have been more distinct when they were made then, or the monitor was origionally refurbished for having such distinct lines. I really dont know. All I can say is that these lines were blatantly visible, and I'm not really a nit-picker, but these lines were BAD!. Thanks for all of the responses. I guess I'll need to go to the store and check out a new Trinitron.

About the game error...I cant tell you how to fix it, because I dont own the monitor. It would not run the game and had the really distinct lines, so even for $80 why would I buy it?

Yes they tendto be pretty visible especially in stuff like word, but only if you're looking for them. Really they are just 2 razor thin pieces of wire. When you word are you looking at the white space or the text? When you're doing something on the computer, you'll never even realize they are there.
