Maybe they should fix the PS3 and come out with some decent TV technology before they consider this. They haven't really done much since they killed off the Trinitron.

It's not the first time. I had seen a couple of sites that sold roller skates with chainsaw engines strapped to the back of the heel. It's been a few years, so I don't remember where I saw them or where you will find a pair.

Fix the PS3? The only problem with PS3 right now is lack of games. Thats what happens with brand new systems. The 360 took a long ass time before it had a nice set of decent games. The Wii has a whopping one good game as well.

from what I remember, it doesn't play ps2/ps1 games correctly.

There's problems with some t.v. sets and hdmi "handshaking"

There's been internet rumor about blu-ray errors/failures/freezing

There's more than 1 game for the wii.

Sony just has not been the same since their founder died. After that, the company went south and has never been the same since then.

Or they could buy the whole company and the patents.

No doubt. It's just a patent, doesn't mean they are actively producing it.

I'd be willing to bet that most major companies have similarly wacky patents, "just in case."

Couldn't have said it better myself. Saved me the typing. :)

Pretty much the same thing happened with Wal-mart as well.

I actually talked to that guy back in 1998. I wanted a pair and encouraged him to start a buisness. He said to me, "really?". At the time he did not seem certain about his inventions potential. It looks like he took my suggestion seriously.

No I am not kidding about this..

"MOTOBOARD's MOTOSK8s uses pre-mixed unleaded gasoline and can average over 100 mpg. Run out of fuel, continue to free skate to your destination.

Right! Free-skate with 20 lbs on both feet. If you have the leg muscles of a gazelle maybe.
