Actually sony is technically right. Xbox 360 has 3 cpus and if PS3(1 Cell CPU) is equal to Xbox 360 (with the 3 cpu's) in power. Then ps3's cell is technically equal to 3 times the power of one (of the 3) Xbox 360 CPUS. But yeah, they're hoping people will think it means PS3 = 3 Xbox 360's in power.

Cell might be, but the question is, who the heck is going to spend the extra time to get the extra performance out of it when it is so hard to code for?

Wasn't it true that it was also difficult to code games for PS2 then it was for the Xbox? Now its even more difficult to code the PS3? damn, it might be next to impossible when they make PS4 come out with their "diskless" idea.
