Hehe, I just finished installing a Sony 16x10x40, did a disk to disk copy of an audio cd and was very pleased, it literally blows away my previous 8x4x32 cdrw.
Nice looking unit, clean design, headphone jack and volume control, standard stuff.
Painless install, I have read that the bundle sucks but I havent looked at it yet, I already had EzCdCastrator installed, worked perfectly, my crappy compusa cheapo media burned at 16x too, at least thats what ezcd said while it was burning, 16x 2400kbps or something like that.
Anybody else have this drive? couldnt find any reviews about it before I bought it but I am glad I decided to go ahead and chance it.
got it for $130.00 after rebate and got 11 free sony cdrW disks with it, how long do you all think it will be 'till I will be able to buy a 32x20x40(+?) for $130.00? just wondering how long this drive will last
