I purchased one of these back a few months ago in the compusa ad error for $150, all I can say is great and fast burner, I can usually do anything I want without any errors, only programs that will give me errors usually is adaptec ez cd but who likes that crap anyways

I just bought that sucker from Best Buy for $230 (before $50 mail in rebate) a couple weeks ago.

That's a great deal, PicPop. I recommend this drive. Its no Plextor, but it's been stable and fast for me so far.

Edit: I haven't mailed in the rebate form yet. Since the offer expired, does my mine still stand, since I bought the drive while the rebate was still available?

Rumor has it that this drive and the HP 9510 are one and the same. If that is true then this is an even better deal. I have a 9519 and it rules.
