my parents just got this lcd from the dell deal in the hot deals forums over the weekend. they are gonna let me use it until i get a new one since my monitor just died. I was wondering if this monitor is going to be for gaming or is it gonna somewhat suck. I'll mostly be playing like battlefield, cs type of games.

I wouldn't try gaming on this unless your happy with intense motion blur. According to the official specifications this monitor has a 60ms response time. Yes, it would suck the big cahones.

Actually, you shouldn't really see too much in tearing. I've gamed on the 15" version of that monitor... MOHAA and it wasn't bad.
