So they're using some of the spare paint from the PS3 to paint some slim PS2s and charge a price premium for hardware that they themselves are declaring outdated?

Fascinating. I mean, if they had made it compatible with the PS2 hard drive, I might have at least been inclined to pay attention. But at it is, I feel this is just another sign of how stupid Sony really thinks you are.

Price premium? It's the same price as a black slim PS2.

Are you really that stupid to buy another one just because it's a different color? I got rid of mine today with 2 memory card and the net adapter for $50 total. No point in hauling this crap apartment to apartment when I haven't touched it for a year.
