For all those people who thought the Nintendo DS was going to be cheaper heres a little aggressive strategy put on by Sony. The Nintendo DS in the US is going to be 150 dollars.
In Japan the unit is releasing for 200 dollars for just the unit. However you can grab the value pack which has much more for 269. Rumors were that the PSP was going to be too expensive for most people to buy. However, Sony is releasing their PSP (Region Free at That!) at an affordable price.
For one kick ass looking unit and a portable gaming machine that is sure to turn heads at less then 270 dollars.
Everyones been so awesome here at the forums so I thought I'd share that Lik-Sang is taking pre-orders for NO DEPOSIT but they do require a credit card but there is no charge made. Please note if you plan on buying a PSP I would definitely recommend getting it from Japan. Sony of Japan manufactures at much higher quality then US products and the build quality is much more taken in account for since Japan really cares about their electronics.
Also the unit is Region Free and from my experience the US likes to make their units of course ONLY U.S.
There is no price announced for the U.S. yet and my belief is that it will be more expensive here at the U.S. then in Japan. So if you want in on this, I got your link right here:

Oh and if thats not enough the release date is announced at December 12th =)! Which is about 3-5 months sooner then the anticipated U.S. release. So if you want your hands on this quality unit to make all your friends jealous well then here it is.
