Sony possibly ends PSP Go production

When will they hit $50? I'll snag one then.

Unless,.. the PSP2 will have b/c with PSP1 games. Then, then PSPGo can fuck itself. Of all the dumbest ideas EVER, the Go has to be the shittiest and dumbest. What kind of fucked up asshole comes up with a platform where you have to re-purchase all your previous games? Granted, the Go was targeted to NEW PSP buyers, but still - why pay $40 for a DL title you can get used for $15?

Sony did great to release the PSP, but it went to shit with the Go and this new PSP phone monstrocity.

Sony confirmed it. The Go was a case of too little, too late. So typically Sony. It was expensive, had an awkward layout, and a much smaller library of games. Even today, there are still a lot of PSP games that aren't on the PSN Store.

Thankfully the NGP brings with it a return to physical media.

Making a portable that doesn't use physical media is ideal to me, it only makes sense. Just not when you have two of the same system, one with and one without physical media capability, then completely fubar the pricing so that the physical media is way cheaper.

From PSP Gouge to PSP Gone.

It cost more for the device and the games, and couldn't play the full PSP library since some were UMD-only. Rest easy little Gouge, your failure is now complete.
