It's a legit complaint.

Partly, you can pick up a PS3 with a superior feature set to the 360 for $500- and the 360 doesn't have any motion sensors in its controller at all(what kind of last gen crap is that?). For the record, I already have purchased just under 20 retail(not including arcade) games for my 360, just a big letdown that it is stuck using last gen controller tech and last gen media.

or you can pick up a wii for <= $250, which has a superior feature set to the PS3. half-assed motion sensors, what's with that?😀😀

PS2-style controllers are too outdated now. Sure I liked the Dualshock when I had a PS1 but since the Xbox controller design, analog triggers are FTW for racing, shooting, action-adventure, well pretty much everything. Plus the analog stick placement on PS2-style ones is crap for FPS games (whether or not you like it FPS games are pretty big on consoles since Halo). I dont see how adding a gimmicky motion sensor will do anything for it.

Better for the 360. Have you even read any reviews of the PS3 motion sensing? It's supposedly laggy as fvck and really annoying, whereas E3 goers were more or less singing praise about the Wii's feature (cept that it had some learning curve to it).

IMHO, tried-and-true "last gen" is better than throwing some sh1tty feature in at the last minute to try and make your competing product look more (or just as much) "next gen" as the other guys. I'd take good "rumble" over the PS3's craptastic motion sensing any day.

Im a fanboy, a fanboy of my money and $600 for the console, no rumble, and $60+ a game they wont be getting any of my money any time soon. Same goes for the 360 till it comes down way in price and $20 hit games are released.

rumble>1999 era microsoft freestyle controller tilt😛
force feedback? didn't really catch on for pc. the joysticks have remained stagant for years now🙁 its mostly good for steering wheels. force feedback thumbsticks would probably give u repetitive strain injury or something😉

I wouldn't get too hopeful about a price drop very soon. Units will be very limited for at least 6 months, and they're already loosing a lot of money. Sony does need to answer to shareholders eventually, that means "making" money.

And before the "fanboyism" starts, I have a X360 & will get a PS3 but i'll avoid Wii.

I don't have a X360, I refuse to buy PS3, and i'm gettin Wii.

Microsoft released a gyroscope controller like the PS3 controller over 5 years ago and it was a flop. No one liked it. I'm guessing that the same will be the case with the PS3 controller. I know I don't want to be moving my arms about for hours on end.

I'm glad you know so much about Sony's business plan. I guess them getting the PS3 out there in mass quantities would be bad, then Blu-ray would take off and they would make billions in licencing fees.

My 360 GamerTag- how many games have you picked up for your 360 so far? Sorry to disappoint. I play games no matter what system they are released for. I own all of the current gen and I will own all of the next gen(one third of the way there now). I call them like I see them.
