"The SBOX PS2 ModChip is the world's first working solution of USB PORT for US & PAL machines. It's compatible with every PS2 model PS2 (US/EUR/JAP), You can now play all your PS2 Backups and also PSX Backups."

Anyone ever use one of these? $25 seems like a bargain if it works.

FYI, you still have to open up your PS2 and solder 1 wire....not worth it..better to wait for one where its all external

Ya.. it's nice that it's only one.. but you're still killing your warranty if you open it up.. and.. I'm not too confident in this thing that I won't need the warranty.. hearing about problems people have had..

Yeah - I don't feel like taking my PS2 apart. I don't even think Sony will repair it if you screw up - and they charge $120 anyway.

Besides that, even with the thing, you STILL need a GameShark to play import/copied games.. this just adds some extra features to the normal GameShark stuff... as far as I could tell.
