Sony PEG-NR70V

What do you guys think of this PDA? It looks pretty nice, I like the swiveling screen, its got a large display. How does this compare with an ipaq for example?

I have a PalmVX, I love the PalmOS. I saw the Sony PDA this week and I think its amazing. However you still can't compare it with the IPaq. Totally different beasts.

PocketPC's can do more multimedia than any palm device. The sony plays mp3s because of things added by sony.

Sony PEG-NR70V is ultra sleek. It puts Ipaq to shame.

I'm going to get one when it gets slimmer with X-scale

I have one. It kicks more ass than a three legged man at an...er...ass kicking contest.
The screen is ultra bright and hi-res, it's hella fast, and the camera is the coolest thing ever.
The first PalmOS PDA I've kept for more than a week.
Oh yeah, the ability to take Memory Sticks and play MP3s doesn't hurt either.

I like seeing peoples' eyes boggle when I swivel the screen too.

I'm going to get one. It's a GREAT Palm - I got to play with one at Best Buy(had the dude take it out of the case). It's not that heavy, as thin or thinner than the Jornada, a little longer, BEAUTIFUL screen, etc.

The graffiti area is not always on the screen, like previous Palms. It is displayed, and can be disabled for picture slideshows and stuff. The pictures are awesome, too. The swivel effect and keyboard are also amazing, as well as the MP3 player.


It kicks the IPAQ's ass, IMHO. The IPAQ is big, uber-delicate, expensive, and no camera.

No sh!t? How is the sound for the MP3s? How about the pictures? Are many accessories/cases availible? TELL US!!

SmartPhone? Never heard of it. I'd just like the cell-phone capability. I would buy it without a doubt, and so would many other people I know.

Actually, I'd buy that device if it comes with a cell phone capability even if it doesn't use SmartPhone OS. Decisions, decisions. So many goodies out there.

got a Vx myself. i love it because it does what i need it to do and is still compact enough to pop it in my pocket without people asking if i'm happy to see them.
