I am considering the purchase of a used Sony PCG-GRT100 notebook. One of the things I need the notebook to do is send video to my television so I can watch shows and movies via the windows media player. I have looked over the specs for this notebook but there is no TV out. In fact, the specs simply state it is a video out. Will I be able to do what I am describing with a connection such as this or will there be problems and troubleshooting I have to endure.
Here is the web page that contains the specs. On the Specifications Sheet there is no mention of TV-Out or Video Out but if you look in the Quick Start Guide on Page 20 there is a diagram of the connections and item 5 appears to be a video out rca type connection.
