I don't think it is worth the trouble:

"We confirm the price of a Product as part of our order processing procedures. In the unlikely event that a price stated on our Web site is incorrect, then the following applies:


If a Product's correct price is lower than our stated price, we charge the lower amount and ship you the Product.

If a Product's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation."

Just got off the phone with sony. They have confirmed it is indeed a typo. THe price should be 2198.98.

My guess is this will not be honored.

I managed to register and order. total came to 261.23 . overnight shipping. lets see if I can get a giftcard or something out of this.

just talked to sony..there is a price typo error and the real rpice should be $2249.98. all orders will be cancelled.
