Sony NW Series? Alternatives?

Wife wants a new notebook. HATES the fusion (shiny) finish on many keyboards which wipes out most of the landscape. Sony, Toshiba Tecra...That's about all I can think of. I got her a LOADED HP DV6T for XMass, and she refused to use it based on the keyboard alone.

Surfs a lot in the dark on the sofa. Watches some online videos (youtube), plus this would be our travel entertainment notebook to play videos for the kids in hotel rooms. Not a gamer, but I figure some graphics card would save CPU and RAM.

Any comments on Sony's overall? This seems decent. The upcoming F series seems very nice, but not in stock yet. Budget up to $1300...She kept the last unit for 5 yrs, so some future proofing is worthwhile.

Also, where to buy? Sony. Newegg? Best Buy? Costco stocks a soso model w/o the added vid card.

Lots of questions. Thanks

Marc

She doesn't like glossy keys??

I have a CW and I love the keyboard. It's the same type of "chiclet" keyboard so I would think the NW's is just as good.

But I think I tried out one of these at Staples, and it had a terrible screen. Best Buy also sells them... so you can go to one of those stores and try it out.
