Sony Muteki STR-KM3 "USB FAIL" error

Hi all!
I am repairing a Sony STR-KM3, that displays "USB FAIL" and turns off.
The big concern is that this model DOES NOT have USB port (Argentina model).
Can anyone help me reprogram the device so that it won't ask for the USB board connection?
