Sony Monitor's resolution/refresh rate.

Hi, i have an old model: Sony 200ES

i am running it at 1280*960.

i don't know the MAX refresh rate for at this resolution.

If i check "hide mode that can't be displayed", then i only get 60hz.

but if i uncheck it, i have all the refresh rate from 60hz to 150hz.

I know my monitor won't support 150hz, but i select it anyways, oooo, it looks better than 60hz, but i am sure it is not 150hz.

now i want to know what is the max at this resolution, because there is a note saying it may damage the hardware if i use an unsupport mode.(which is kinda odd, if it doens't support how can i use it ???)
anyways, can anyone please find out for me.!

i can only find refresh rate at 1024*768 or 1280*1024 at sony.com

If you are runing XP, check if it installed a generic monitor or your specific one.

Also check to see you have driver installed for it, from sony's site. that will open up the new rates.

oh man, the inf file only support Win95.

i have XP pro.

XP already detected it as Sony 200ES
