Ok, I installed a new HD, reinstalled windows, installed drivers and now when I go to shut down it gets stuck on windows is shutting down. Every time I do this. I just reinstalled windows on a new HD whats going on?
 
Ok here is an update. This sony has a built in web cam at the top of the monitor. It shows up as usb2.0 web camera. I tried downloading the install file for the camera from sony, it extracts the drivers, I tried specifying the location for the driver and when I do that, it says the driver was not found. I got another file from the sony website for a camera and when I run it, it seems to install the driver but after I do that the computer will not reboot anymore. Is the camera possibly brokened?
 
Try booting up into SAFE mode, take out all USB device drivers, disable your antivirus, boot back into normal, reinstall all your devices starting with the webcam.
Remember to disable any avirus when installing these drivers - and only do one at a time, then reboot.
