Just picked up the new HX 100V and Im very much digging it, was curious if anyone here had this cam if so tell us what you thinkf of it.

i was going to get that cam but it was delayed here - ended up going slr in the end.

how are you finding the low light shots and zoom stability/clarity?

Well Im new to all the photo stuff, so most of the time just leave it on Superior Auto and click away it seems to me to do a good job in low light, and the zooms at full length are very stedy the lens does a killer job.
 
Bought this a few days ago, and haven't really run it through its paces yet, but early thoughts are:

1) Zoom stability is very solid. Only blur I get in an image is when I focus the wrong thing, even at 30X zoom.

2) The video is AMAZING. It blows me away every time I watch a clip. The sharpness, stability, and framerate are outstanding.

3) The LCD is pretty crappy in still shot mode (heavy red tint), but when you record videos, it's perfect. I'm hoping a firmware update fixes it, but it's not a game breaker.
