As the title says. I've tried both a PS3 and also a high end Sony Blu-Ray player. I loved the quality of Blu-Ray, but once I hook it up via HDMI to my speakerbar (Sony HT-CT100) that is ALL HDMI, I get lipsync issues. I have A/V Sync set to ON for the speakerbar, which does help, but it seems to go in a vicious cycle every 10-20 seconds of being in sync and then not being in sync, gradually.
If I bypass the speakerbar and go directly from the Blu-Ray player via HDMI to the TV and use the built in speakers, the problem goes away and everything is in sync.
This is depressing seeing we paid something like 300-400 for the speakerbar and it definitely makes everything sound better.
Since it's an all HDMI setup, A/V sync is on, and I have the SPDIF optical cable ran from the sub to the TV (required, otherwise the sub does not work), I don't understand where the delay is coming from?
HD content from Comcast, DVDs, etc all work fine. It's just Blu-Ray.
Is this a processing/bandwidth issue of the soundbar?
