Sony HDTV Video support

Just purchased a KV-32HV600 Sony with the intention of hooking it up to my Computer's video card (some sort of Radeon TBD). However, Sony advises they do not support DVI connection with a pc. My question is, are they merely not offerring tech support, or am I unable to actually make it work? Would advise any heads up on the issue including any suggestions for an adequate video card. No gaming needed. Gracie!
