Sony Handycam CD/software... anyone have it?

Good morning everyone, I officially am an idiot.

I bought a Sony Handycam HDR-SR1 and didn't realize that Sony makes you use their software to get the video off of the camera (one thing I neglected to read in the researching process)

I really don't feel like spending $62 + shipping to get a replacement CD, because that's absolute crap, but if anyone is feeling generous and can help me out I'd really appreciate it.

That's BS that Sony makes you repurchase the software that you legally own, while at the same time they equate music piracy with stealing.
