See the thing is that Sony did not have rivals as strong as MS, Sony could feed gamers sh!t like they have with PS2, and everyone ate it and came back for more when PS2 was out, b/c it was the only viable thing on the market.
I don't think its going to work this time around with MS, Sonys old marketing ploys and lies are going to come back to them.
I watched both the XBox 360 and Sony PS3 E3 vids, Sonys presentation was horrid ... besides the game previews (that were movies) there really wasn't much to it ..... specs of the PS3 (wow my 10 year old sister can whip up a better Power Point than Sony did), the MS bashing (well we are better by this much, we might not have a working PS3, but we are better, we know) ... that was about it.
MS on the other hand put on a show, besides the game previews and such, they were able to show off how the actual system is going to work. MS showed you the bells and whistles rather than telling you about them, they also were able to show how 360 is going to be for a broader range of people, not just the die hard gamers.
Thats just about the marketing and how MS did vs Sony at E3.
I will admit that the current xbox is lacking titles, but then again Sony has a few years on MS, who knows what can happen. Also Square-Enix announced that FF XI is comming to 360, hopefully that means that SE is going to make more games for 360.
I say wait for MS to battle with Sony, we only stand to gain from it.
