sony g400 monitor adjustments

i just got a sony g400 monitor, and i have been messing around with the centering and geometric adjustments and i CANNOT get it to fill the screen perfectly... someone told me that there is a automatic center button but i have yet to see it. also, is there any program that would help me set the brightness, contrast, etc of my monitor to their optimal settings... ive tried doing it by eye and i can't quite get it to my liking

No monitor is perfect. I've got the exact same monitor and there a flaws in my picture that I accept, maybe I shouldn't but I'm not sure if it's worth arguing w/ Sony about.

The top left edge of my Monitor is about 2mm lower than the right edge. I can get the bottom level, but the top is not. Also my monitor could use a vertical pincushion adjustment. The center of the top and bottom edges dip in about 1mm compared to the edges.

Anyone think these imperections are within manufacturing tolerances? Or should I make a stink w/ Sony and tell them to fix it or give me a new monitor. After all this monitor costs over $500 not to mention the all-in-one adjustment button on this monitor has been sticking since the day I got it.

I really don't feel like lugging a 75 lb. monitor down to Sony 🙁
