Sony G400/G500 Manufactured Dates Info

Where can you find the manufactured date on Sony monitors?(I assume it's written somewhere on the back) Anyway, what's the LATEST date for a brand new Sony G400/G500 monitor? It would suck if I get one today then find out it was manufactured 2 years ago.

Sticker on the back correct, just picked up a G400 last week, date is Novemeber 2000. Your pretty much guaranteed a recently manufactured monitor unless the store has old stock, just order it thru a well known reseller.

I bought 2 g500 on onvia, at 1098 each but 2 @ 2197 with 200 off and free shipping, arrived in 1 DAY! PA to CT, and date was Sept 2000

Onvia seems to have alot of fresh batches since they usually sell out there and Onvia quickly orders new ones.

When I bought my G400 at August, it was dated as September 2000 when I got it.

Onvia doesn't stock anything.

They get all their stuff through Ingram Micro, so if you buy from a reseller who uses Ingram Micro as their supplier, chances are you'll get something fairly new. And especially so with the Sony G400/G500 monitors as they are often short-stocked on those. The product turn around on those units are very fast.
