Sony FE 50mm f1.8 - $249!

I may be late to the party, but I just came across this new lens tonight. A 50mm f1.8 lens for the full fame FE mount to use natively on our Sony A7 series cameras! http://www.glazerscamera.com/nex-fe-50mm-f1-8

I don't know about you all, but I am super excited! Sure, it may not be as premium as the Zeiss 55mm f1.8, but I'm looking forward to adding this little 50 to my Sony kit. Let's hope the reviews are good!

I'm glad Sony has decided to release a relatively affordable 50mm F1.8 for the FE mount. Any camera system should have at least an affordable 50mm 1.8 lens. Canon and Nikon have sold millions of these things since forever, it's the lens to get after the kit lens.

Maybe in the future. Right now Sony is banking on making lenses for people with cash to spend. The newly announced G Master lenses are humongous and expensive, relatively expensive, I should say.

Right, the 85 1.4 GM is what, $2000ish? Lol!

Am still considering the 85 1.8 Batis for $1200, but jeez I'm going to have to save a while for that one..

The Batis is a beautiful lens, both physically and in the images it can produce
