My friend had a P900 but it was stolen this weekend and she's in a bit of a dilemma as all of her phone numbers / data that were stored on the phone have gone.
She has a backup however, from a couple of months ago, which was made with the sony software.
The backup is a single *.ecs extension file and it appears to be openable with winzip etc, however inside the file are about 1000 *.dat files and what appears to be some form of index file called "filestore.dat" in the format of the attached code below.
I've looked everywhere for information on how to extract the data in this file so I can get her contacts etc recovered for her, she's quite upset / worried about it as there's a lot of additional important information in there as well.
Does anyone have experience with this cellphone/PDA device and/or experience with *.ecs files?
Would appreciate any information to get me headed in the right direction.
Cheers,
Dan
