I want to buy another one of these.

I got the other fron Newegg...but they no longer offer it. Neither does anyone else.

Adorama says they do, but I'd need to call to order, and Adorama's performance hasn't been very good lately.

I need this particular camera because of the size, and weight and mainly the ACC port that accepts their wired remote. I'm disabled, and this works for me.

Any reputable shops have this in stock?
 
That cameras been long discontinued. You could consider upgrading to the V3? Its a bit larger and black, not silver... great camera nonetheless.
 
how has adorama not been good lately? i ordered a bunch of stuff from them a lil while ago, had to return something, because i got the wrong size, and the exchange went fine, and their CS was a pleasure to deal with as always
 
I've always had good luck with Adorama, too. I've just been seeing the stuff written on Photo.net and RR.com, and I'm getting cold feet.

I'll probably be going with Adorama if nothing comes up.

yea their RR is much lower then i woudl have ever thought, however i ordered over 2000$ of stuff with theim in feb and never had an issue, had to return something then as well and it was fine as well, they got it and 2 days later my CC was credited,

actually i pretty much always order from them, only time i order fromsomeplace else is if they dont have it or someplace else has a drastically lower price
 
I'm getting the V3. I have the most wonderful GF in the world...shes getting for me as a gift. 🙂
 
Anyone know of a shop open this week (B&H isnt) that has the V3 for ~$520 and the RM-VD1 remote for $30-$40?
