Can someone please post some tips and tricks for SONY DSC-S40 Camera.

What do you mean by "tips and tricks"? It's a point & shoot camera, set it on Auto and fire away!

Lol you won't really be able to do much more with that camera than snapshots, so just set it on auto and don't worry about the settings.

You can take more than "snapshots" with any sort of camera. Photography is based on skill, intent, artistry and opportunity, and none of those attributes necessitates any other than a working camera.

I don't understand what you mean. Tricks? Gadgets? To do what? Can you please be more specific in what you are attempting to accomplish?

The S40 doesn't support interchangeable lenses or external flashes or anything like that. Like 996GT2 and I have both stated, you basically point the camera and shoot.

Maybe he expected a firmware hack like the one that turned the original canon rebel into a d10.

Maybe something like camera quirks, maybe a hidden setting or something.
