SONY DSC-F707 $469 DSC-F717 $639

I found this site www.amphotoworld.com has the SONY DSC digital cameras with the above price. Considering their MSRP and the price found in Ebay, I believe it is hot. I placed an order for a F707. Shipping is $23.00. Let's keep an eye on it. Have no experience buying from them, not sure if they'll hornor the price. I don't have to mention the good reviews on these cameras, do I?

Another question is: do we get to cook some pricematch deals out of this? (If for some reason they don't ship).

They did not answer my questions directly. For example, when I asked if it was a full retail kit, they answered, "yes, it is new from the factory". When I repeated the question, they still did not answer it directly and became quite rude. When I rephrased the question and asked if it included the battery and charger, they became even more rude and literally began insulting me. When they finally admitted that the package did not include the battery and charger, I cancelled my order.

I have dealt with these guys. The Reason why these items are listed so cheap is because... it's GRAY version. No retail box, the camera only. I PMed with Sears to get it around 6 bills. Well, g' luck with that. =)

Not all Sears stores will PM with A&M. Check out www.dpreview.com in their Sony forums and search for Sears and you'll see tons of stories. I was able to PM with Sears, but that was last year for my DSC-F707. I got them to PM it for $649.99 against A&M. There were lots of people who tried the same thing at different Sears stores and were turned down. It all depends on the store, the salesperson, and the sales manager.

The updated the price, F717 is $749 now. at of 12:00pm pacific time.

And I will never order from them either, horrible reseller rating.

But they are a great source for me to use to PM with my AMEX BVG

BTW, for those of you want F717, I just got mine off from Dell extreme deal. 10% + 10% (stackable) + free S&H. I will PM it with my BVG, and my F717 final price DOES come down to around $630!!!

i price mached a 32 inch sony wega tv last year. Sears wanted 1100.00 for the tv. I pmed sears to crazy eddies (i thing it was them). With a 10% off coupon. I ended up getting the tv with a 3 year warranty for 689.26.

Sometimes you will have to talk to different sales persons. Or go to different sears. Make sure you take the print out of the store that you want to pm with sears.
