Has anyone successfully changed the booktype on a Sony DRU-710A?
I downloaded KProbe v2.4.2, and changed the booktype on one of my discs as a test. Then viewed disc properties with dvd infopro, and it said the booktype was still DVD+R. Then I burned the disc, viewed it again after the burn it, and it was still a DVD+R booktype in dvdinfo pro. I read about omnipatcher (didn't try it with my drive), but I would rather just change the book-type before each disc rather than flashing anything, so are there utilities that work with the 710A for changing the booktype? Any input would be appreciated.
