I had to laugh at this...

Of course if rules that the RIAA want accepted by congress get through, it will be possible for Sony to sue the makers of sticky tape for knowingly creating a tool for music piracy.

Why use a different method than the sharpie that was used in this very same fashion not too long ago? I can't remember exactly what was the hot topic at the time, but someone just used a sharpie to mark around the outer part of the cd to "disable" whatever protection was there.
