SONY DJ700 headphones? PROBLEMS

Nocturnal

Lifer
So I just received my headphones today. Anyways I have them plugged in through my speakers. As I'm listening to some vocal trance music the bass is nice however, at a softer volume... I can't really explain it except that the bass comes through but there is another sound with it. I don't know if this is normal or not. I'm thinking it is defective. It's like a rass with the bass. Any idea if this may or may not be normal?

My friend has it; it's pretty decent for DJing. Don't pay over ~$75 online for it. Sony headphones are (in general) overmarketed; for information on audophile headphones go to HeadFi .

Good luck 😀

not that good really. the best sony v's are the v-6s. may be hard to find since they've been replaced by the essentially the same but more expensive MRD-V7506 (IIRC)

as stated above. most of sony's DJ series is pretty bad. youd be much better off with a v6 or 7506 (same exact thing), they sound muccch better, and have a dark sound with deep bass. perfect for monitor/studio or DJ use.

I just bought them and they're the weapon of choice for most of my lan-buddies. I got mine for 95$ with a two year, 40$ full replacement extended warranty. They sound marginally better than my old set... Aiwa closed ear... not quite enough to justify the price, but the swiveling is cool.

No other headphone I have ever tried has been better at assisting in pinpointing footsteps in modern FPS's. Aiwas are a better all around buy to me... but I just wanted something that I would have to worry about next christams. Good luck either way.

Oh, and I used eCost.com... I think theyre a pcmall.com subsiderary.
