Yeah, that site was over the top satire, funny stuff. You wanna see scary, just read some of the console forums. Classic case of truth being stranger than fiction.
the only console forums I really go to is the official PlayStation forums, mainly because they post a lot of the news in one spot and sometimes actually have good discussions. However, I laugh at the rampant fanboyism on the site still and point it out many times in my posts there.
Usually the Official forum of the console is dominated with fanboys. Just try mentioning a 360 on the PS forums, or an PS3 on the Xbox forums.
thankfully whenever you do, there are enough mature forum-goers that doing so is still worthwhile, especially if it's an honest and informative post. At least, unless your bashing the PS3 on the forums, then everyone jumps down your throat. But I've made many mention of liking the boomerang, the 360 controller, and etc etc.. and get generally mature responses. But same goes here, there are quite a few immature responses to almost everything.
It's so funny how the fanboys have stuck to no rumble, and always get into a frenzy whenever someone mentions they miss and/or want rumble. It's like.. how can rumble be bad? To these fanboys, whatever decision Sony may make, is like the will of god and they will do everything in their part to make sure that word is heard loud and clear. It's kind of sickening. However, I will welcome rumble as I do dearly miss it. Just as long as rumble and motion sensing co-exist in the same controller, as properly implemented, together they would be awesome.
