I've heard a lot of people talk about Pioneer, Lite-On, and Toshiba in this forum, but not to many seem too have Sony DVD-ROMs.
Does anyone have any experience with this drive? It looks alright to me, but I'd like to get some feedback.

I'm using this drive and I fine it 'good enough' for everyday usage.

The drive's depth is shorter than normal, so it will fit pretty well in tight locations.
The built feels a bit flimsy to me, particularly the tray. It does not come with
region free firmware, so you have to flash one yourself. Another positive point
I want to add is that it is very quiet and does not vibrate a lot.
