I just saw one here on FS/FT for $105.00 plus shipping. Suppose to be brand new and no messing with rebates.

Huh. I have the original S300 and that sucker is like a tank. It hasn't let me down since I got it nearly 3 years ago.

the reason probably is sony has new models come out, everyone makes something wrong with them and return it to get a new one ;) I would do that too, but i never buy a clie from bestbuy :(

depends what you are looking for in a pda. sj22 is very good for beginner, get a 128mb memory stick for $20-30, then you can turn it into a mp3 player :D

I got my mom the Sony SJ22/U Clie for her birthday last summer and she loved it. Its not the greatest PDA but it is a very good beginners PDA. It's pretty basic and easy to use although it's not the most powerful PDA it does everything she wants it to do and its pretty small.

If you want something that Plays Mp3's with a built in function you should look towards the SJ33 model which can play Mp3s. This SJ22/U model you need to buy a special remote piece that cost around a hundred bucks extra, with that money you could buy a way better Pocket PC Model instead.

I own an SJ33, love it... used to be an old-school Palm III user, then tried the Clie T-series. The SJ22 is a solid PDA, I'm jealous you can get it for ~$100... heh.
