SONY camera ad blunder

i was watching telly and there was this ad. a middle age lady was passionately kissing this young boy. first impression i got was that it was mom and son :S. and then the sony logo pops up and the ad was about sony cameras. seems like cannon (parden the pun) fodder to criticise sony..what were they thinking??
