Sony Bravia as additional display

Picked up a Sony Bravia 32" 1080p today to use with my PC. It is nice but there's quite a bit a can't seem to figure out. It's been a loooooong time since I've worked with dual displays, my video card is a Radeon 5850 and using HDMI output.

1) I use it as extended desktop, the TV is to the left of my monitor, however I have to swipe mouse off the right edge of the screen to that desktop. I cannot find any obvious ways to change this so I can move mouse to the left to get to the TV....?

2) Is there a way to make games use the TV, other than setting the TV as primary display? I can play movies on the TV simply by dragging them over and going full screen.

More questions to come as I just got this thing setup 🙂
 
#1 - In the display options screen, just click one of the displays and drag it to the other side

#2 - Unfortunately setting the TV as primary display is the only way to get games to start on it. (AFAIK)
 
I have my laptop setup with an external display as the primary display and the laptop display as a secondary, my web browser always launches in the secondary display. Last time I closed my web browser it was on the secondary display so it launches it in that display rather than the default. I don't remember configuring anything so it probably learned by itself, it may be a feature enabled by default in the graphics driver on my particular PC.
 
When using the secondary display, with most applications, they will always open up there since it is essentially just one large display broken up into 2 screens and Windows will usually remember and honor the request to open up on that screen. Games however only like the primary display, which ever one it may be.
 
2) the only easy way i can think of is to have the game run windowed, and reposition it on the TV display.
there's usually a way to force games to run windowed via a settings.ini type file (useful if the setting isn't found in game), and some games i think allow for adjusting default screen position, but that isn't very common

so why don't you want the TV as your primary display? 😛
