Sony Alpha SLT-a35 Advice

I just got the a35 for a $100 on clearance and I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with this camera? I don't know a thing about it but couldn't pass it up for the price. My knowledge is pretty limited but is it good for your slightly above average point and shoot user?

I bought an a37 recently. I found it to be a pretty simple transition from my old superzoom. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

Also, hit Dyxum.com up for reviews and recommendations on various lenses. I've since ended up with a number of Minolta lenses from ebay.

My list of lenses is kind of random:

Sony 28mm

Sony 18-55mm
Sony 55-200mm

Minolta 50mm

Minolta 28-85mm
Minolta 100-300mm

Samyang 100-500mm

I have it and it's a great camera. If you don't want it I'll buy it from you for $150

I recommend the Sony 35mm f1.8 lens. It's only about $200
