The Sony Spressa has a 4 MEG BUFFER! Never saw an EIDE drive with that large of a buffer. Anyway, it's $149 w/ $20 rebate. The cheapest OEM I found online (w/ shipping) was $125, and this comes with all the software & gadgets in the box. Pretty good deal.

Nice post, but I believe that same drive is at Staples this week for 129.99-20.00 mir. I live in houston, so I don't have an ad on me at the moment. Anyone confirm/disprove?

better deal here: Buy.com has it for $148. Add $2.00 worth to your basket and use a coupon to lower it from 150 to 120, then mail in the $30 rebate. Total $150 + $10(shipping) - $30 - $30 = $100 + tax. Add some cdr's like maxell 10 pack's to get over $150.
