For $1k you can buy Sony 10.3 Mega Pixel DS1 DSLR digital camera.

Sony sticks are slooooow. About 3x slower than Sandisk version. You're probably looking over an hour to transfer content into that stick.

Okay WTF $1k for an 8GB stick?! Why wouldn't you just buy like 8x1GB/16x512MB or something?

SD cost that much when 2GBs were just introduced.

I wouldn't be surprised if 8gb comes down to $200 within a year
