This is my first post in hot deals, so if I post this in the wrong forum, my bad. I just came across this at Costco. You get the Sony 52" 1080P 120Hz panel Television for $2999 after $300 instant savings. I know this is expensive but it comes with the two year Costco Service plan. Compared to BB, I would say this is hot since BB sells it for $2300 on sale without service plan. Also I was wondering how this TV is compared to the Samsung 120Hz models.

I posted a similar deal on the 52" XBR4 at Sears earlier this week, and people didn't seem to thing it was too hot, so I don't know. Actually, the Sears deal was better as it was $2999 - 5% (if you use Sears CC) plus a free HD Tivo unit (supposedly a $300 value).

Well, I think I'd rather get it from BB for $2300.
(I'm guessing you made a typo?)

BB does not sell the 52" XBR4 for $2300. They don't even sell the 46"- er anywhere near that price. That's why I thought the Sears deal was hot for those looking for an LCD.

I'm assuming Sony does not make any other 120 Hz sets besides the XBR's.

At BB, for $2300 for a 52", you're not even going to get a W model, most likely it's a V model.
